Onsite Project Manager
The Work:
As an Onsite Project Manager, you will take charge of leading complex technical initiatives, particularly those supporting highly available national security systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing biographic matching and identity resolution projects, as well as conducting vetting analysis to ensure the integrity and reliability of critical operations. You will be expected to report onsite in Colorado Springs, CO three days a week, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success and maintain alignment with organizational goals.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise with tools such as GitLab and Mattermost to facilitate release planning, manage project communications, and engage stakeholders effectively. Your ability to staff, motivate, and high-performance development teams will be essential as you navigate the challenges of managing people and resources in a dynamic environment. Experience in special operations intelligence disciplines, particularly with USSOCOM or JSOTF, as well as familiarity with defense acquisition program management, will further enhance your ability to deliver results in this demanding setting. Strong communication skills and a proven track record of producing professional documentation will be key to ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Here’s What You Need:
- 15 years of experience managing people and complex technical projects, including work on highly available, national security systems
- Domain knowledge in biographic matching/identity resolution, vetting analysis
- Hands-on, working knowledge of GitLab and Mattermost, particularly in support of release planning, release management, project and team communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to staff, manage, motivate and retain high-performance development teams.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to produce high-quality, professional documentation.
- Ability to report onsite 3x a week in Colorado Springs, CO (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays)
