Operations Analyst
Job Description
Purpose of the role
To support the day-to-day activities of the Operations function by delivering high-quality operational services, maintaining effective controls and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Support with day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution with regards to accounts, products and services.
- Support the management of the banks client relations to clearly identify their needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Development and implementation of Private Bank and Wealth Management procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on Private Bank and Wealth Management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Private Bank and Wealth Management Services.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Private Bank and Wealth Management efficiency and effectiveness.
- Execute operational processes in line with established procedures and controls.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Identify and escalate risks, incidents and control issues.
- Support process enhancements and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations and procedures.
Analyst Expectations
- To meet the needs of stakeholders/ customers through transactional processing and customer service.
- Perform routine and specific tasks as assigned, focussing on quality execution

- Execute work requirements as identified in processes and procedures, identify escalation of policy breaches as required.

- Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of procedures.
- Evaluate and select the correct solution to problems to complete the tasks.
- Perform first line customer service-related activities, interact with stakeholders on matters of customer service or administrative tasks, sometimes engaging with difficult contacts, networking with other employees where appropriate.
