Operations Coordinator

Move One is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the day-to-day planning and coordination of international shipments across the Middle East. This role is ideal for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering excellent customer service while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate air, sea, and land freight operations for import and export shipments.


• Plan and schedule daily pickups and deliveries.


• Monitor shipments throughout the transportation cycle to ensure timely execution.


• Communicate regularly with customers, suppliers, agents, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status, delays, and additional charges.


• Select the most efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions using approved vendors and rate structures.


• Review active shipments and quotations to identify opportunities to maximize revenue and improve profitability.


• Ensure all shipment information, documentation, and costs are accurately updated in company systems.


• Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to achieving departmental service and performance targets.


• Prepare accurate daily operational reports for management.


• Work closely with Move One offices and partners to ensure smooth shipment execution.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


• Assist with additional projects and operational tasks as required.

Skills

• Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation operations.


• University degree preferred.


• Experience coordinating international shipments by air, sea, and/or land.


• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, shipment documentation, and customer service principles.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


• Experience with global shipping operations is highly desirable.
