Role Overview
The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Margaret Market, ensuring that tenants, F&B stores, staff, and customers are well managed and that the business operates efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
F&B Operations
Oversee the daily operations of Margie Bar.
Ensure outlets maintain high standards of service, food quality, cleanliness, and customer experience.
Monitor opening hours, staffing, inventory, and operational issues.
Identify operational gaps and implement improvements.
Work closely with outlet supervisors and managers to resolve issues quickly.
Staff Management
Manage and supervise the team.
Plan staffing schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
Train, coach, and develop staff to maintain service and operational standards.
Monitor staff performance, attendance, and conduct.
Handle staff issues, conflicts, and disciplinary matters where required.
Foster a professional, accountable, and positive working environment.
P&L & Financial Management
Take ownership of the day-to-day financial performance of the business.
Monitor revenue, costs, labour, inventory, and operating expenses.
Review monthly P&L and identify areas for improvement.
Work towards achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Control operational costs and minimise wastage.
Monitor F&B sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue.
Work with finance to ensure accurate reporting, claims, payments, and financial controls.
Operations & Compliance
Ensure the market operates smoothly and safely on a daily basis.
Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, pest control, security, and general upkeep.
Ensure F&B outlets comply with relevant operational and regulatory requirements.
Handle customer feedback and operational incidents.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers when required.

Ideal Candidate
Experience managing F&B, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use commercial operations.
Strong people-management and communication skills.
Comfortable managing both people and numbers.
Commercially minded with an understanding of P&L and cost control.
Proactive, hands-on, and able to solve problems independently.
Able to manage multiple tenants, teams, and operational priorities at the same time.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
