Operations Manager | Sporting Brand | On-site (Saint-Léonard) | $65-80K + Bonus + Benefits (Saint-Léonard, QC)

The Company:


An established and rapidly growing Canadian sporting goods manufacturer is seeking an Operations Manager to lead its Saint-Léonard operations. With a reputation for premium products and exceptional customer service, this innovative business is experiencing significant growth and requires a strong operational leader to optimise processes, develop teams, and support continued expansion across Canada.


The Role:


Reporting to senior leadership, the Operations Manager will oversee warehouse operations, customer service, inventory management, logistics, and operational planning. This position will drive efficiency, implement performance metrics, support sales growth, and build a high-performing team while maintaining strong financial discipline. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead warehouse, inventory, logistics, and customer service operations.
  • Develop and monitor operational KPIs to improve accuracy, productivity, and service levels.
  • Ensure high inventory accuracy and efficient order fulfilment.
  • Support sales growth by ensuring operational readiness and effective sales support.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage operational budgets and monitor expenses.
  • Analyse operational performance and provide regular reporting.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular performance management.
  • Establish cross-training and succession plans to strengthen the team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of operations management experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or e-commerce.
  • Proven experience leading warehouse and customer service teams.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and operational KPIs.
  • Experience improving operational processes and driving efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control operating costs.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP or warehouse management systems. Preferably Odoo.
