Operations Specialist I - Treasury Management
The Treasury Management Specialist is responsible for performing various cash, disbursement and reconciliation activities for the SEI Wealth & US Operations Trust Platforms within SPTC. This individual will be a primary contact for internal and external clients, supporting and assisting in exception & problem resolution with regards to demand deposit accounts, money movement, settlement transactions and payment system issues. The Specialist will be directly responsible for performing cash processing functions including but not limited to complex cash settlements, liquidity management, wire processing and control functions associated with cash transaction, currency approvals, and foreign drafts for clients on SWP or Trust3000.
What you’ll do:
Oversee daily production and serve as escalation point for the team regarding day-to-day inquiries or requests, resolving complex issues and ensuring all daily cash and liquidity processes are completed against defined SLA’s and provide support for all core processing functions to fill any gaps when needed.
Assist with onboarding and training new team members, training team on more complex tasks, including establishing system access, initial systems training, quality review and providing feedback to team members.
Willingness to work across team lines and build effective relationships with both internal and external teams.
Process client conversions, de-conversions, or transitions to the SEI Wealth Platform.
Ensure compliance with all SPTC team policies and procedures are met and update those according to defined processes.
Organize the delivery of metrics for representation for Committee and Board Reporting, including OCC, Trust Operations Committee and other management reporting.
Undertake and direct more complicated projects as directed and provide creative and innovative approaches to process improvement including understanding of root cause analysis, and ability to brainstorm and troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions
What we need from you:
BS/BA in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field required.
2+ years minimum experience with banking services or strong understanding of core cash processing functions
