OTC Derivatives Sales Trader

Originate and deepen institutional client relationships, advise on crypto derivative strategies, guide clients through complex OTC forwards and options execution, provide market insights, manage client portfolios, ensure compliant trade execution and post-trade delivery, collaborate cross-functionally, and automate workflows with programming.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within OTC derivatives.
• Establish and nurture long-term institutional client relationships.
• Advise clients and guide them through complex derivative transactions.
• Provide market insights and strategic advice.
• Manage client portfolios and identify additional trading needs.
• Navigate regulatory requirements and internal compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with trading, structuring, legal, and operations teams.
• Ensure seamless trade execution and post-trade service delivery.
• Maintain accurate client and trading activity records.
• Use programming to improve workflows and reduce manual effort.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of OTC derivative products, particularly forwards and options.
• Proven experience in a client-facing sales trading role.
• Track record of relationships with institutional clients such as asset managers, hedge funds, corporations, and banks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of relevant market regulations and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
