Outbound Sales Representative
Company Introduction
WorldStrides is the global leader in educational travel and experiential learning. The company was founded in 1967 to provide middle school travel programs to Washington, D.C. and has grown to provide a wide range of programs for more than half a million students annually to over 100 countries around the world. WorldStrides offers experiential learning programs in educational travel, performing arts, language immersion, career exploration, service-learning, study abroad, and sports. Each of these experiences helps students to see beyond the classroom and to see the world – and themselves – in new ways.
Every call you make puts a student on a plane.
At WorldStrides, we take students places a classroom can't, Washington D.C., the national parks, science labs, historical battlefields, and destinations across the globe. For a lot of these kids, it's their first time on a plane, their first time out of their state, sometimes their first time seeing the ocean. Teachers are the ones who make those trips happen, but only if someone reaches them, earns their trust, and shows them it's possible.
That someone is you.
What you'll actually be doing
This is a high-volume outbound role. You'll spend your day on the phone and in the inbox, prospecting teachers and school administrators across the U.S. who've never heard of us, opening conversations from a cold start, and qualifying which ones are serious about organizing a student trip. The strong opportunities you uncover get handed to our Sales team to close, and your pipeline is what feeds theirs.
