Part Time Data Analyst
Salary: A05 Hourly Rate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst (AO5) to join our Strategic Talent Solutions team on a part-time basis till December 2026.
In this key governance role, you will manage and maintain the organization's Blue Card Register database. You will ensure high data integrity, audit readiness, and ongoing compliance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 and relevant child safety policies.
Reporting to the Principal Advisor, you will be the core technical contact for database management, quality assurance, and statewide reporting, while serving as the point of contact with regulatory bodies.
Key Accountabilities
Database Administration & QA: Oversee the daily administration of the Blue Card Register, conducting regular quality checks to maintain strict data integrity, user security roles, and audit compliance.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare statewide and ad-hoc analytical reports to support business planning, identifying data anomalies across systems and implementing corrective strategies.
System Optimization: Manage information systems, identify process improvements, write query scripts, and maintain user data efficiency.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary contact with external regulatory agencies (Blue Card Services) and internal state/regional stakeholders to provide compliance guidance.
Policy & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and review of end-to-end legislative management procedures and continuous service delivery.
What We Are Looking For
Highly Desirable Technical Skills:
Practical experience in database management, including writing SQL queries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Power Platform (including Dynamics 365 CRM).
Proven capability in managing data across systems, troubleshooting data errors, and delivering reliable reporting
