JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Dr. Amy Moore in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Penn State is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented individual for a part-time position to assist with research projects on nutrition, health, and well-being in community-based settings, particularly among families in rural communities. This position provides hands-on research experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of research materials, including the design and review of intervention and recruitment materials and data collection instruments.
- Assist with data collection and maintaining research records, including detailed spreadsheets and data tracking systems.
- Conduct searches of and document scientific literature related to lab research projects.
- Participate in community-engaged activities with the research team.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
