Part-Time Security Officer – Montgomery, NY

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour | Part-Time

Join our security team at a busy receiving warehouse and distribution center supporting the delivery of medical supplies. We are looking for a dependable and professional Security Officer who can help maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment for employees, vendors, drivers, and visitors.

Schedule

• Saturday & Sunday
• 4:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 24 hours per week

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and control access to the facility
• Check employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel entering and exiting the property
• Monitor receiving and distribution activity
• Maintain awareness of warehouse operations, loading areas, and parking areas
• Conduct security patrols and routine inspections
• Assist with maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors
• Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
• Enforce site security policies and procedures
• Provide professional customer service while interacting with employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and dependable with strong attendance
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout a 12-hour shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment
• Ability to interact professionally with employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors
• Previous security, warehouse, logistics, or access control experience is a plus
• Valid NYS Security Guard License preferred/required based on assignment
