Patient Services Manager

Midwest Eye Consultants is looking for a Patient Service Manager to lead our front-office team in Auburn. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity that partners with the Practice Manager to keep the practice running smoothly and provide an exceptional experience for every patient.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and support front-office team members in their day-to-day responsibilities.

  • Create staff schedules, review timecards, and help ensure attendance and company policies are followed.

  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture where team members feel supported and accountable.

  • Oversee patient check-in and check-out and help ensure a smooth patient flow.

  • Build positive relationships with patients and address service concerns professionally and effectively.

  • Serve as a role model for exceptional customer service.

  • Support clinical operations when needed, including chart preparation and patient testing.

  • Coordinate daily front-office operations and ensure processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

  • Support end-of-day procedures, cash handling, deposits, bank runs, insurance filing, claim follow-up, and accounts receivable activities.

  • Monitor key performance indicators and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and practice performance.

  • Partner with the Practice Manager and physicians to support practice goals and growth.

  • Help ensure compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

  • Identify problems, take initiative, and help implement practical solutions.

What We Need:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Preferred:
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.

  • Healthcare, medical office, optometry, or ophthalmology experience.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
