We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Payroll Advisor to join our Head Office team in Auckland.


About the Role


Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll
be responsible for administering our weekly apprentice payroll and providing outstanding support to apprentices, host companies and internal stakeholders.

This is a varied role where accuracy, attention to detail and excellent customer service are essential.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Processing weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Managing payroll data, reporting and audits
  • Responding to payroll and timesheet enquiries
  • Processing pay adjustments, reimbursements and leave transactions
  • Supporting apprentice completions and terminations
  • Providing support and training on TimeFiler
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll and employment legislation
  • Contributing to process improvements and projects


What You'll Bring

  • At least 2 years' payroll or administration experience
  • Knowledge of NZ payroll and employment legislation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Excel and computer skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A positive, proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement
