We’re looking for an EMEA Payroll Specialist to join an international team and take responsibility for payroll processes across several EMEA countries.

EMEA Payroll Specialist

In this role, you’ll work closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with local regulations.

Here are some of the things you can look forward to:

  • Manage payroll processes for several EMEA countries, either in-house or with local payroll providers
  • Review and control payroll-related payments to employees, tax authorities and social security offices
  • Prepare and review monthly payroll tax returns
  • Process payroll-related journal entries into the General Ledger
  • Support payroll compliance and employee-related queries
  • Act as a key point of contact for HR and Finance business partners
  • Analyse the impact of changes in tax, social security and benefits legislation
  • Work with external payroll vendors and ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Prepare payroll data, reports and analysis using Excel
  • Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls

You are the right person for the role if you:

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll, preferably in a multi-country / international environment
  • Experience working with payroll providers or outsourced payroll processes
  • Good understanding of payroll taxes and social security
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large amounts of data
  • Ability to analyse data and turn it into clear, meaningful reports
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills and confidence working with HR, Finance and other stakeholders
  • Professional level of English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ADP GlobalView (ADP GV)
  • Experience with SAP Payroll
  • Previous experience in a multinational organisation
  • Payroll-related qualifications
