Sonos is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to be a key part of the employee experience in the UK. This is a broad, hands-on People role where you’ll be a trusted point of contact for employees across almost every stage of the employee lifecycle — from onboarding and day-to-day support through benefits, leave, employee changes, and offboarding. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of People topics and learn how our global People programs work locally, building a strong foundation in People Operations.
You’ll bring at least two years of relevant HR experience, ideally with exposure to UK employee lifecycle administration or benefits, and be comfortable working with HR systems such as Workday. You’ll report to the People Operations Manager, EMEA, as part of a global People team.
What You’ll Do
Be a trusted first point of contact for UK employees across onboarding, leave, benefits, employee changes, and offboarding, helping people get the answers and support they need and escalating when specialist support is required.
Coordinate day-to-day employee lifecycle administration, including probation tracking, references, contract changes, leavers, exit interviews, right-to-work checks, and other related employee processes and records.
Partner with the People Team on onboarding, benefits, payroll inputs where needed, and other People processes, helping global programs work smoothly for UK employees.
Maintain accurate UK employee data in Workday and support basic reporting on employee lifecycle activity.
Support Talent Acquisition at UK hiring events, sharing an authentic employee perspective on working at Sonos.
Help employees navigate UK policies, handbook materials, and self-service resources.
Spot recurring issues or process friction, ask thoughtful questions, and suggest practical improvements to how we work.
What You’ll Need
At least two years of relevant HR experience, ideally including UK employee lifecycle administration or benefits.
Working knowledge of UK employment processes, including right to work and statutory leave, with good judgment about when to escalate.
Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong organisation, communication, and relationship-building skills across local and global teams.
A curious, practical approach to problem-solving, grounded in Collaboration, Respect, Transparency, and Ownership.
Inclusion: Research shows that some candidates may not apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we still strongly encourage you to apply if interested.
