Pharmacist (Quality Assurance & GMP/GDP)

Summary

Pharmacist role ensuring GMP/GDP compliance at a central warehouse distributing therapeutic products to public healthcare institutions. Acts as Responsible Person / Authorized Person for product release, maintains QA records and SOPs, supports ISO and GMP/GDP audits, and drives continuous quality improvement.

  • Oversee company product operations within the central warehouse supporting the distribution of therapeutic products to public healthcare institutions.

  • Serve as the designated Responsible Person for the company product Wholesale Licence and coordinate CD-related operational matters, KPIs and audit requirements.

  • Ensure company product are received, stored, verified, distributed and disposed of in compliance with established procedures and regulatory standards.

  • Perform duties as an Authorized Person (AP) or Delegated Authorized Person (DAP) for the final release of repacked therapeutic products.

  • Support secondary assembly and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) activities.

  • Monitor and review environmental conditions, including temperature and relative humidity records, and follow up on reportable excursions.

  • Maintain oversight of quality records covering equipment calibration, temperature mapping, pest management and cleaning activities.

  • Develop and update training materials and conduct onboarding and refresher training for relevant personnel.

  • Support investigations into non-conformances, medication incidents and near-miss cases, including root cause analysis and preparation of investigation reports.

  • Review and maintain quality and environmental SOPs and work instructions to ensure they remain effective and up to date.

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and implementation activities.

  • Support internal audits covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP and GDP requirements.

  • Provide assistance with therapeutic product and medical device registration activities.

  • Support sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint monitoring and tracking.

  • Perform other related responsibilities assigned by the Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.

  • Must hold full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and maintain active practice status.

  • At least 1 year of working experience as a Pharmacist.

  • Quality Assurance within GMP/GDP environments would be an advantage.

  • Strong analytical ability with a proactive, careful and detail-oriented approach.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
