Platform Engineer - Site Reliability & Infrastructure
Build the foundation for Verisoul to scale by guaranteeing uptime, optimizing costs, improving developer experience, and aligning infrastructure decisions with engineering, product, and founders.
Responsibilities
- Scale systems from 10K RPS to 1M RPS
- Lead SRE efforts and maintain system health
- Automate incident management and ensure uptime at scale
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, automated releases
- Own the cloud environment and optimize performance and costs
- Manage security architecture and compliance workflows
- Create dashboards and monitoring for real-time system insight
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product to improve release velocity
- Align infrastructure decisions with founders on business goals
Requirements
- 4+ years of managing cloud infrastructure for live, production-grade applications
- Automate deployments, provisioning with IaC, and monitoring
- Ability to scale systems without spiraling cloud bills
- Must work in person in Austin, Texas
