emagine is looking for a Senior Power BI Developer for one of our partners.
Summary
The role of a Power BI Developer is integral to the Analytics team, focusing on driving data insights through effective data visualization and reporting. This position supports the optimization and enhancement of existing Power BI solutions and addresses business-specific reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
Support and enhance existing Power BI solutions through troubleshooting and optimization.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
Perform data modeling, utilizing DAX and Power Query for effective data analysis.
Work independently while maintaining a structured approach to projects.
Must Haves:
Solid experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Strong skills in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
Experience in supporting, maintaining, and further developing existing Power BI solutions.
Proven track record in developing reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
Familiarity with data from SAP, Databricks, Azure SQL, SharePoint, and other enterprise data sources.
Nice to Haves:
Knowledge of governance, documentation, and quality assurance of BI solutions.
Experience with modern cloud-based analytics platforms.
Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
Experience with Databricks.
Other Details:
Location: Aarhus (DK) - with some flexibility regarding onsite/remote
Contract Duration: 6 months with an option for extension.
Expected Start: As soon as possible, no later than 1st October 2026.
Hours: Full time
