PR Account Manager (Senior Manager/Director)

Position Title: PR Account Manager (Senior Manager/Director)
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur
Working hour: 9:30am - 6:30pm (Mon - Friday)
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts and understand client business objectives and provide strategic communications advice
- Lead end-to-end execution of PR campaigns, media relations, and events. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource planning
- Support development of PR and communications strategies and oversee media outreach, press releases, influencer engagement, and content development
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-campaign reports
- Provide insights and recommendations for campaign improvement
- Supervise and mentor Account Executives / Account Managers Delegate tasks effectively and review team output
- Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts and support pitching for new business and proposal development
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Marketing, Business or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in PR, communications, or events industry
- Strong media relations and client servicing experience
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts
- Fluent in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Chinese, as the role requires communication and reporting to Chinese-speaking management.
