Procurement Admin
The Procurement Admin supports procurement needs across departments, ensures compliance with procurement policies, builds supplier relationships, and manages procurement operations involving The Gambia and Côte d'Ivoire.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Buyer and Procurement Officer.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, manage signatures, and share orders with vendors.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including contracts, SSM, and purchase orders.
- Track purchase requests and coordinate signature and validation workflows.
- Maintain procurement trackers and reporting dashboards.
- Track vendor orders and delivery timelines.
- Maintain the contract repository and support renewals, expirations, and amendments.
- Liaise with Finance on invoice matching and payment processing.
- Coordinate with departments to clarify procurement needs and timelines.
Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- At least 3 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Administration, Business, Procurement, Accounting, or Logistics.
- Professional knowledge and skills with the ability to anticipate and manage risks.
- Private or financial sector experience is a plus.
- Work authorization in The Gambia is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, especially spreadsheets.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, compliance, and documentation skills.
