Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

Standardize procurement reports to support data-driven decision making.
Establish and improve procurement processes and governance.
Manage and maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
Drive First Article Inspection (FAI) process standardization across stakeholders.
Define stakeholder roles, workflows, and approval processes for FAI.
Streamline procurement processes to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.
Enhance supplier quality, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness.
Improve cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, Quality, and Engineering.
Reduce lead times and procurement-related bottlenecks.
Balance cost, quality, delivery, and supplier risk in procurement decisions.

Requirements:

Have a bachelor’s degree in technical Engineering or Supply Chain,
Have 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the energy sector and reporting roles, in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics roles,
Have significant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment,
Experience in Oil & Gas industry preferred,
Have good problem-solving skills with eye for detail and analytical behavior, ideally knowledge in lean Six Sigma methodology,
Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills,
Ability to work independently (self-sufficient with minimal supervision),
Demonstrate expertise in managing suppliers of complex, long-lead-time, and high-value products,
Possess strong stakeholder management and supplier relationship skills,
Have experience coordinating multiple suppliers and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment,
Have strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar),
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence across functions,
Be comfortable working independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams,
Have a continuous improvement mindset and strong commercial acumen.
