Job Summary
The Procurement Executive manages sourcing and purchasing of goods and services, ensuring cost, quality, delivery, compliance, and service standards. This role collaborates with the Chief Executive and suppliers to secure optimal procurement outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure industrial components and equipment from overseas platforms efficiently to meet project needs and budget targets
- Compare prices, specifications, and supplier reliability to select the best procurement options
- Evaluate technical specifications and product quality to ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Coordinate with suppliers to optimize lead times, pricing, and logistics for timely delivery
- Analyze market trends and alternative solutions to support project requirements and cost-effectiveness
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve procurement issues and improve processes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma, vocational, or technical/engineering-related background
- Factory, technical, or hands-on experience advantageous
- Fresh graduates are welcome
