Procurement Officer (4months Contract)

Highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of procurement practices, excellent negotiation skills, and focus on optimizing costs while maintaining quality. This is a maternity cover position.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Supplier Relationship Management:

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

· Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure favorable contracts.

· Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and effective manner.

Compliance and Reporting:

· Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

· Prepare regular procurement reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and performance metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

· Work closely with internal teams such as finance, operations, and logistics to ensure smooth procurement operations.

· Provide support for budget planning and cost control activities. Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get task done.

Procurement Management:

· Source and select suppliers for goods and services in accordance with company requirements. Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with quality standards. Issue purchase orders and track order status until delivery.


What we need from you

● A minimum qualification in Diploma in Culinary Arts

● At least 3 years of experience in the a supervisory level, including management experience
