Product Manager, GTM Automation
Shape the automation backbone of Block’s GTM platform, deciding where automation should exist and how humans remain in the loop. Own products end to end from concept through production, partnering with engineering, ML, data, design, operations, legal, security, and compliance to deliver intelligent, reliable, and responsible systems across sales, marketing, partnerships, account management, and communications.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for AI-powered products.
- Identify automation opportunities based on user pain and measurable business outcomes.
- Turn ambiguous, high-stakes problems into product direction and requirements.
- Partner with ML engineers, data scientists, and researchers on model goals, data strategy, evaluation, and quality thresholds.
- Design and run experiments, including A/B tests and offline evaluations.
- Define product behavior across success paths, failures, and edge cases.
- Own metrics for accuracy, safety, latency, reliability, and user trust.
- Build intuitive, transparent, and safe human-AI interactions with design.
- Collaborate with legal, security, and compliance on responsible AI in regulated environments.
- Lead cross-functional execution from concept to launch and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of product management experience shipping AI- or ML-driven products.
- Technical intuition around machine learning systems, training loops, evaluation, prompt design, data pipelines, and real-time inference.
- Experience running structured experiments such as A/B tests and offline model evaluations.
- Ownership mindset and ability to drive complex cross-team initiatives independently.
- Clear communication skills for executive, technical, and operational audiences.
- Experience in scaled, high-stakes, or regulated environments such as risk, compliance, or operations.
- Strong understanding of AI quality, safety, and responsible use.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, multimodal models, or applied generative AI.
- Technical or analytical background preferred.
- GTM process and tooling domain knowledge preferred.
