Product Manager, Integrations

Summary

Owns the product strategy and roadmap for integrations on a post-acute care analytics platform (Anna). Translates payer and partner workflow and data-exchange needs into clear product requirements, coordinates between Engineering, Implementation, and external stakeholders, and productizes one-off EHR/API integrations into repeatable, scalable playbooks.

Who we are

We are a profitable healthcare technology company on a mission to transform post-acute care through clinical intelligence, deep datasets, and connected technology. Our platform empowers providers & payors to collaborate to deliver exceptional outcomes, streamline care coordination, and enhance patient experience.

We are on a mission to reimagine how post-acute care is delivered — and we’re looking for passionate people who share our commitment to improving lives beyond the hospital. Our Anna™ platform is the clinical intelligence layer for post-acute care — the period after a patient leaves the hospital, when handoffs fail, information gets lost, and vulnerable people fall through the cracks. Care managers and clinicians use Anna to focus on the patients who need attention right now.

What makes PAA distinctive isn't the funding or the growth curve — it's how we work. Autonomy and ownership are non-negotiable: AI amplifies expertise, it doesn't replace it. User trust is infrastructure, not a metric. Architecture is product strategy, not engineering's problem.

What you will do

PAA is scaling from a handful of national-scale payer and provider relationships to a pipeline of many more over the next several years, and the surface area where that scale either happens or breaks is integrations. Every new customer brings its own systems, workflows, and technical realities. Anna's insights need to flow through APIs into EHRs, into partner platforms, into the workflows where clinical decisions actually happen, and each new integration has the potential to be a one-off implementation or a durable, productized capability the whole company can leverage.

We are seeking a highly collaborative Integrations Product Manager to own that difference. You'll join an experienced Product team and drive the strategy and execution of PAA's integration capabilities with customers and partners. You’ll sit at the intersection of Engineering, Client/Implementation teams, and external partner technical teams, translating real-world workflow and data exchange needs into clear product requirements that result in reliable, scalable integrations. Your charter is to assess the business value and go after new integration opportunities, get payer and partner stakeholders aligned on a common goal and roadmap, and then productize what Engineering builds so we can adopt at scale for the growing customer base.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, confident in a room of senior external stakeholders, and instinctively thinks about how one-off wins become repeatable playbooks. Engineering will own the technical solutioning at PAA and will teach you the stack, your value comes from the business framing, stakeholder alignment, and productization work that makes integrations scale.

Core Responsibilities

Own the integration product surface area

  • Define and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and outcomes for PAA’s integration platform and customer/partner integrations.
  • Assess business value and prioritize integration work based on customer impact, revenue/retention potential, implementation scale, reliability risk, and engineering effort.
  • Establish and track success metrics (e.g., time-to-integrate, integration reliability/SLA adherence, error rates, throughput/latency, support burden, adoption).
  • Partner with Client/Implementation teams and customers/partners to deeply understand integration requirements, constraints, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
  • Productize what Engineering builds: turn one-off integration components into templates, playbooks, reference architectures, and documentation so the next customers can rinse-and-repeat at scale.
  • Partner with Operations and Client Success to ensure new payer clients and post-acute care partners can adopt integrations without reinventing the wheel each time.
  • Write clear epics, user stories, and technical requirements that enable Engineering to deliver with minimal ambiguity (data mapping, edge cases, error handling, security, observability, and support workflows).
  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog for the Integrations Engineering Scrum team.
  • Lead/enable sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review readiness (ensuring stories are “ready,” dependencies are surfaced, and scope is coherent).
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies (Product, DevOps, InfoSec, Data/Analytics, QA, Implementation, Support).
  • Drive feedback loops from production: analyze incidents, integration failures, customer escalations, and operational pain points; prioritize systemic fixes over repeated one-offs.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to make pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions and minimize long-term maintenance cost.
