Product Manager

Join Stellar Development Foundation's product team to shape the next chapter of the Stellar network. This generalist product role may span core protocol, enterprise payments and tokenization, DeFi, developer experience and tooling, or AI agents transacting on-chain. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and ecosystem partners to take ideas from problem to shipped product, using AI tools to accelerate discovery and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ramp on the Stellar network, products, and ecosystem within the first 30 days
• Ship a first small improvement end-to-end within the first 30 days
• Own a product area and build a prioritized roadmap within 90 days
• Establish a steady delivery cadence with the team
• Define and drive product strategy and roadmap
• Talk to users, developers, and partners
• Translate user needs into product vision and requirements
• Use AI tools to accelerate discovery and delivery
• Generate prototypes, mockups, and working demos
• Partner with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality products
• Measure product impact after launch
• Balance current network needs with the longer-term future

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience shipping software products end-to-end
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, or v0, including building working prototypes
• Ability to translate user needs into long-term vision and near-term technical requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Comfort with technical products and ambiguity
• High user empathy and a high bar for quality
• Bonus: experience with blockchain, crypto, fintech, developer-facing products, payments, DeFi, enterprise platforms, open-source projects, or the Stellar network and Soroban smart contracts
