Product Manager
Wintermute is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead development and delivery of the NODE platform for institutional crypto trading. The role translates business needs into product requirements and technical specifications, manages engineering roadmaps and sprints, coordinates with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams, and supports secure, scalable, high-performance platform delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle of the Single Dealer Platform
- Translate business needs into product requirements and technical specifications
- Manage the engineering roadmap, sprints, and deliverables using Agile
- Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, and security teams
- Integrate market data feeds and execution systems using FIX
- Contribute to architecture discussions and design reviews
- Uphold cybersecurity standards with security consultants
- Use AWS to deploy, monitor, and scale platform components
- Use Python for automation, prototyping, and light data analysis
- Track KPIs and user feedback to improve product functionality
- Maintain focus on low-latency execution and minimizing delays
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical Product Manager role
- Strong technical background in system design and infrastructure
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, identity and access management, and secure APIs
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation or data parsing
- Awareness of latency-critical systems and speed, scalability, and reliability trade-offs
- Experience managing full-stack product development focused on scalability and performance
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Nice to have: FIX protocol and electronic trading systems experience
- Nice to have: networking knowledge including firewalls, VPNs, VPCs, subnets, and routing
- Nice to have: knowledge of crypto markets, blockchain infrastructure, and DeFi protocols
