Product Marketing Manager
Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager will own how Audiohook is positioned, launched, and adopted — with a special emphasis on post-close activation. You'll make sure customers don't just sign on, but quickly reach value, expand usage, and become long-term advocates. This role partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Demand Gen to turn our platform's strengths into clear customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Post-Close Activation
Design and operationalize the customer onboarding journey, in-product education, and lifecycle communications that drive time-to-value and feature adoption
Partner with Customer Success and Sales to identify activation drop-off points and ship targeted programs to improve them
Increase 90-day customer activation rate by a measurable amount within 6 months of hiring
Build customer-facing case studies, testimonials, and reference programs that fuel both new business and expansion
Positioning & Messaging
Own positioning, messaging, and narrative for Audiohook's platform and key product lines
Conduct ongoing customer, prospect, and competitive research to sharpen positioning and identify opportunity areas
Launches & Sales Enablement
Lead go-to-market for new product launches: positioning, sales enablement, customer comms, launch assets, and measurement
Build sales enablement assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards, ROI calculators, and objection-handling guides
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Demand Gen on campaign messaging and Product on roadmap inputs from the field
Communicate clearly and proactively in a remote-first environment
Qualifications
Required
4+ years of B2B product marketing experience
Demonstrated experience owning post-close activation, onboarding, or lifecycle marketing — not just top-of-funnel launches
Strong writing skills; able to turn complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for buyers and users

Comfortable working directly with customers — interviews, advisory boards, win/loss research
Preferred
Experience in adtech, martech, or SaaS
Experience building reference programs or customer advocacy motions
Experience in a startup or high-growth company
Comfort using AI tools to research, draft, and iterate on messaging
