Program Manager

gener8tor is seeking an Alabama Forestry Accelerator Program Manager to lead startup recruitment and cohort selection, coach founders, manage accelerator operations, track outcomes, engage Alabama stakeholders, and represent gener8tor in the Dothan entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Recruit startup applicants and lead cohort selection.
• Build relationships with mentors, investors, and ecosystem partners.
• Run two accelerator programs and manage program logistics.
• Coach founders on customer discovery, traction, storytelling, business models, and fundraising.
• Connect founders with mentors, investors, customers, and ecosystem resources.
• Track, analyze, and report startup and program metrics.
• Manage Alabama Forestry partner relationships and provide weekly updates.
• Support the Dothan entrepreneurial ecosystem and broader gener8tor initiatives.

Requirements

• Residence in or relocation to Dothan.
• Commitment to the Alabama startup ecosystem.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Strong organization, self-direction, and project management skills.
• Adaptability and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Team-oriented, hands-on approach.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about startups and venture capital.
• Flexible schedule, including occasional nights and weekends.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for regional events and meetings.
