About The Job
As part of Generation Singapore, the Programme Manager/Associate will join a fast-paced, collaborative team dedicated to creating impact for jobseekers in Singapore. They would be co-leading or supporting the end-to-end operations for multiple cohorts of Generation programmes, working closely with colleagues from curriculum and instruction, programmes, recruitment, employer engagement with a potential to directly impact the lives of hundreds of Singaporeans struggling to enter the workforce.
We are looking for someone who is mature, a fast learner, and able to influence various stakeholders while having strong operational abilities. This role is for you if you have experience in education, training, or programme operations/management and want to develop your skills further leading programmes with various stakeholders from the internal team, programme partners, instructors, and learners, all while making a tangible difference in the lives of learners from diverse backgrounds.

You will be part of Generation: You Employed, Singapore a local charity with a mission to create meaningful career pathways for people facing barriers to employment. We are an affiliate of Generation: You Employed, a global network of non-profit organisations working on a mission to bridge the gap between education and employment systems to prepare, place and support people into meaningful jobs that are otherwise inaccessible. Generation was created in 2014 to help bridge this gap—at speed and scale. Till date, Generation has supported more than 100,000 people of all ages across 18 countries to get into career-launching jobs.Our placement rates are one of the best in the market at nearly 77% of all Generation graduates securing full-time jobs within 180 days from completing the programme.
What you'll do:
You will co-lead or support the end-to-end operations for 2-3 cohorts of our programmes. Key activities include:
1. Learner Experience & Outcomes
- Oversee learner recruitment in collaboration with the Marketing and Programmes Team
- Manage and execute learner engagement and support plan (including mentorship) to ensure sustained learner well-being through graduation and readiness for the job search
- Lead troubleshooting of learner issues throughout the programme in close collaboration with the Programmes team and instructors
- Support employer engagement and placement activities for graduating learners in collaboration with the Placements Team
2. Delivery Planning and Stakeholder Management
- Create and maintain a cohort workplan; hold regular programme review meetings with all internal stakeholders and prepare progress updates/reports for leadership and funders
- Manage all training partner relationships responsible for your intake(s), overseeing onboarding, capability building, and troubleshooting
- Ensure timely preparedness of instructors, training infrastructure, and internal resourcing in collaboration with the Curriculum & Instruction team
- Support the Curriculum & Instruction team in troubleshooting instruction-related issues and ensure adherence to Generation's delivery quality
3. Data, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Oversee the collection and analysis of learner data throughout the programme lifecycle
- Conduct a 360-degree evaluation at the end of each cohort to identify key interventions for improving outcomes
- Collect learner status post-graduation; lead graduate engagement initiatives to ensure high data completion
- Where needed, collaborate across Generation teams in APAC to share best practices and identify ideas/interventions for Singapore operations

- Demonstrated experience managing high-impact customer/client-facing projects, preferably in a not-for-profit or an adult-education/training environment
- Good understanding of the continuous education and training landscape in Singapore, with some exposure to the barriers jobseekers face while looking for work
- We welcome strong project managers from any industry — what matters most is your ability to be customer oriented while juggling multiple stakeholders and driving results. Strong programme planning and execution skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands, adapt, coordinate resources and timelines, and ensure programmes are delivered effectively against agreed targets
- Proactive and entrepreneurial approach to programme development, identifying opportunities to strengthen programme quality, impact, and taking ownership of continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively with programme partners, learners, colleagues, volunteers and other stakeholders
- Strong decision making skills using programme data and feedback and to assess effectiveness and inform operational and strategic decisions
