Programmer / Trainer - CSE Department

The Programmer / Trainer at Model Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jammu will be responsible for delivering practical training to students, supporting lab activities, and enhancing their technical and industry readiness. The role focuses on bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application through hands-on coding, projects, and technology-driven training.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training & Development

• Conduct hands-on training sessions in programming languages and emerging technologies.
  

• Design and deliver modules on coding, software development, and tools.
  

• Organize workshops, boot camps, and skill enhancement sessions.
  

2. Student Mentoring

• Guide students in projects, internships, and hackathons.
  

• Provide technical mentorship and career guidance.
  

• Assess student progress and recommend improvements.
  

3. Industry Alignment

• Introduce students to industry practices, tools, and frameworks.
  

• Collaborate with faculty to align training with curriculum and industry trends.
  

• Prepare students for placements through technical training and mock sessions.
  

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or related discipline.
  

• 5+ years of experience in programming, training, or software development.
  

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
  

• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  

• Understanding of databases, data structures, and algorithms.
  

• Exposure to AI/ML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, IoT, or Cybersecurity.
  

• Hands-on experience with real-time projects or industry tools.
  

• Good communication and presentation abilities.
