Project Coordinator

Harvey Norman Shopfitting is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvey Norman Holdings Limited. Located at South Strathfield, our main purpose is to assist in the design, manufacturing and fit out of owned and leased Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne franchised complexes.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager of Shopfitting, you will provide essential support to the existing and upcoming projects to ensure seamless delivery and execution.

You will;

• Support with inspections by providing checklists and documentation to ensure the job is completed to a high standard.
• Ensure adherence to WHS matters and compliance standards in line with the NCC (National Construction Code).
• Assisting project managers to manage successful internal and external stakeholder relationships with subcontractors, proprietors, internal team members, and others to ensure accurate delivery and installation of all items.
• Analyse and review floor plans to compile a list of manufacture and installation requirements.
• Assist Project Managers to develop and execute delivery and staging plans to ensure timely completion of fit-out.
• Manage documentation for issues and defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Use a combination of databases and Excel to track costs against budgets, helping project management stay on track.
• Prepare comprehensive reports that align with project progress.

You will also have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
