Project coordinator
The Project Coordinator will be assigned to the assist Project Manager in managing the lift installation projects and the ensuring the alignment between contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, developer’s representatives, and relevant authorities from installation till completion and hand over for use.
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate assigned project sites for the installation of home lifts. Consolidating essential information from main contract or that include but not limit to master programmes, key milestone dates, and project information.
- Coordinate on site delivery, receipt, storage, and distribution of lift equipment and materials.
- Maintain proper records and timelines for events like lift shaft handovers, plumbing test results, inspections, and rectification ,requirements, etc.
- Coordinate and record lift shaft readiness and issue installation instructions to subcontractors.
- Maintain records of site progress, correspondences, crucial events, and instructions by main contractor.
- Monitor progress and schedule essential inspections required for RI, TOP / CSC, and other statutory inspections by relevant authorities.
- Generate project progress reports and recovery plans required to stakeholders.
- Communicate project concerns and progress issues to stakeholders.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and compliance with BCA requirements.
- Prepare supporting documents or verify claims against work carried out for progressive claims.
- Administer and understand SIA building contracts and contractual obligations.
- Develop working knowledge of SS550:2020 requirements.
- Attend M&E and coordination meetings as and when required.
- Coordinate EITC works, schedule TOP inspections according to main contractor instruction, and prepare for PTO applications.
- Manage defect rectification and final handover to developers and buyers. Coordinate post-handover maintenance upon obtain of permit to operate.
