Project Implementation Specialist
Role Overview
As a Project Implementation Specialist, you'll own the full lifecycle of our HRMS implementations — from understanding client requirements and configuring the system, to testing, training, go-live, and post-launch support. You'll work directly with clients, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to turn business needs into effective system solutions, delivering projects on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.
This role suits a proactive, accountable, client-focused professional who thrives on solving problems, juggling multiple priorities, and driving projects from start to finish. You'll coordinate project activities, anticipate roadblocks before they become issues, and ensure every implementation runs smoothly while delivering a genuinely great customer experience.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Project Ownership
Lead or support end-to-end software implementation projects.
Establish project timelines, milestones, deliverables and priorities.
Coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure everyone is aligned.
Take ownership of project issues and drive them towards resolution.
2. Business & System Analysis
Conduct requirements gathering and understand clients' business processes.
Translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
Configure and customise HRMS applications.
Identify gaps between business requirements and system capabilities.
3. Testing & Implementation
Coordinate data migration, mapping, cleansing and validation.
Prepare and execute SIT and UAT.
Identify system issues, analyse root causes and work with technical teams on solutions.
Lead go-live preparation and provide hands-on hypercare support.
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
Build strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Conduct system demonstrations, presentations and user training.
Communicate project status, risks, issues and recommendations clearly.
Manage change requests and ensure proper impact assessment.
5. Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and customer experience.
Share feedback with Product and Technical teams to improve the system.
Develop and maintain implementation standards, documentation and best practices.
Job Requirements:
Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in software implementation, project delivery, business analysis, system implementation or a related field.
Proven experience managing or supporting end-to-end software implementation projects.
Strong understanding of implementation methodologies and project lifecycle.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working directly with clients.
Able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Experience with HRMS solutions is highly advantageous.
