Project Manager
Key responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and project roadmaps.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions when required.
Prepare project documentation, governance artifacts, presentations, and executive reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with the bank's project governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures.
Track project budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure effective cost control.
Participate in vendor evaluation, selection, and contract recommendation processes.
Monitor vendor performance to ensure delivery meets agreed quality, scope, timelines, and contractual obligations.
Measure project performance using KPIs and earned value metrics, providing regular status updates to management.
Support business continuity and emergency response activities when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems (MIS), or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of project management experience.
Experience within the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
Professional certifications
Preferred qualifications include:
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Agile project management certifications (Scrum, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent)
