We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Project Manager – Business Systems to join our team on a maternity leave contract. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the next phase of a major systems migration project while working across multiple areas of the business.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the Project Manager – Business Systems will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, integration and optimisation of key business systems across the organisation.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners, you will drive the successful delivery of our business systems migration project, ensuring business objectives are achieved while maintaining operational continuity throughout the transition.
This role requires a highly organised and proactive project professional who can effectively balance strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, change management and hands-on project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the ongoing implementation of business systems across the organisation
Oversee system integration activities including retail, inventory, loyalty, customer and financial platforms
Coordinate data cleansing, validation and migration activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets and risk registers
Liaise with software providers, consultants and implementation partners
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication across all business departments
Develop training resources and coordinate user training programs
Monitor project progress, key performance indicators and milestone delivery
Lead testing, cutover planning and post-implementation support activities
Identify opportunities for future system enhancements and process improvements
Prepare regular project status reports for senior leadership
What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing business systems, ERP, CRM, POS or technology implementation projects
Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading data migration and business process improvement initiatives
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
Experience in change management and user adoption strategies
A collaborative and proactive approach to delivering business outcomes
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Formal qualifications in Project Management, Business, Information Technology or related discipline
Experience with retail, inventory management, customer loyalty or e-commerce platforms
Experience with Shopify, Xero, CRM systems or similar business applications
Experience working with third-party software vendors and implementation partners
Certification in project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or PMP
