Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute projects from start to finish. You’ll work closely with clients, operations, and internal teams to keep projects on time, on budget, and on track while delivering exceptional results.
🎯 What You’ll Do
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate Operations, Service, Engineering, Procurement, and other teams.
- Track project progress, milestones, budgets, and risks.
- Identify issues and implement solutions to keep projects moving.
- Communicate project status, financial performance, and risks to clients and leadership.
- Review contracts, specifications, and project documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage change orders, scope changes, and project documentation.
- Ensure projects meet company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for project escalations and emergency needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
⭐ What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of project management experience in construction, fire protection, or technical services.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Knowledge of NFPA and IEC standards, Underwriters’ requirements, and applicable building codes preferred.
- Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent preferred.
- ERP system experience preferred.
