Project Manager (Compliance Technology)

As a Project Manager at Synpulse, You will lead compliance technology transformation programs across KYC, Source of Wealth (SOW), AML, and regulatory operations, while driving the implementation of advanced Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions across business functions. You will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, from planning and governance through to implementation and handover, helping clients translate regulatory requirements into sustainable, practical solutions that create long-term business value.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of compliance technology, RegTech, KYC, SOW, AML, and financial crime transformation initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams across business and technology domains.
• Drive advanced AI use case delivery, including Agentic AI workflows, autonomous task orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, LLMOps, prompt engineering, model governance, and human-in-the-loop controls from concept through deployment.
• Manage project governance, planning, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
• Support AI adoption, change management, and business readiness activities.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
• Translate compliance and financial crime requirements into technology delivery plans, including customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, SOW review, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, case management, and regulatory reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • Degree holder
  • At least 10 years of experience in banking/financial services, including 5 years as a Project Manager delivering compliance technology or regulatory transformation programs
  • Strong compliance technology experience across KYC, Source of Wealth (SOW), AML, transaction monitoring, financial crime compliance, client lifecycle management, case management, and regulatory reporting.
  • Hands-on experience delivering GenAI or Agentic AI capabilities, including autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, LLMOps, AI guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI governance.
  • Proven delivery of AI, Digital Transformation, or Automation initiatives.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional programs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Team player with strong ownership and ability to drive outcomes across cross-functional teams
