Project Manager – Custom Automotive Operations

We
are a professional custom automotive company specializing in high-quality
vehicle builds, restorations, and performance enhancements. We are seeking an
entry-level Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and
execution of custom automotive projects. This role is well-suited for a
motivated individual with strong organizational skills and an interest in
project management within a technical, production-driven environment.
The
Project Manager will work cross-functionally with shop leadership, technicians,
vendors, and customers to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on
schedule, and in alignment with customer expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end
management of custom automotive projects, from authorization through
completion
- Track project timelines,
deliverables, and milestones to ensure adherence to schedules
- Serve as a point of
coordination between production teams, management, vendors, and customers
- Assist with project
documentation, including work orders, change requests, and progress
reports
- Coordinate parts procurement
and vendor communication to support project timelines
- Identify potential risks or
delays and escalate issues to senior management as appropriate
- Participate in project review
meetings and provide status updates
- Assist with quality assurance
checks prior to final vehicle delivery
- Ensure compliance with
internal processes and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or
equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, project
management, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational,
planning, and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal
communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple
priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with basic office
software, including email and spreadsheets
- Professional demeanor with
internal teams and external customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to automotive,
manufacturing, or fabrication environments
- Internship or entry-level
experience in project coordination or operations
- Familiarity with project
tracking tools or ERP/shop management systems
- Customer-facing or client
coordination experience
