Project Manager (DATA and AI)
Summary

- Lead projects from initiation through implementation and closure, managing scope, timelines, budget, resources, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, financial tracking, and governance documentation.
- Coordinate business, technology, data, and vendor teams to ensure effective delivery and timely resolution of issues.
- Manage senior stakeholder communications, steering committees, status reporting, and project governance.
- Support delivery of data, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Ensure appropriate consideration of data privacy, information security, responsible use of AI, risk, and regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Maintain JIRA/Kanban boards, coordinate stand-ups, track actions and dependencies, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, escalating where required.
- Manage project financials, vendor performance, and resource utilization.
- Conduct project closure, post-implementation reviews, and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 8–12+ years of IT/technology project management experience, with experience leading complex initiatives.
- Experience delivering technology, data, analytics, automation, or AI-related projects.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated environment preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with regional, multicultural, and cross-functional teams.
