Project Manager

Job Description:

BACKGROUND:

• The customer is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Corporate Banking domain knowledge to lead and deliver technology initiatives within the banking environment.
• The role will focus primarily on project management, governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery execution across business and technology teams.
• Experience in Corporate Banking products, operations, and regulatory reporting will be essential for success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery from initiation through implementation.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project scope, timeline, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Coordinate with Business, IT, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committee sessions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Support project governance, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Manage vendors, project financials, and resource utilization.
• Drive implementation and transformation initiatives across Corporate Banking domains.

Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Management or Program Management.
• Proven experience delivering technology, digital transformation, and corporate banking-related projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of project governance, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
• Experience conducting fit-gap assessments against business, regulatory, or compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in corporate banking or financial services environments.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with technology, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.

Corporate Banking Domain such as:

• CASA (Current Account & Savings Account).
• Loans and Lending Products.
• Treasury / Market Products.
• Accounting and General Ledger.
• Payments and Cash Management.

Regulatory Reporting, including:

• MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) reporting requirements.
• JFSA (Japan Financial Services Agency) reporting requirements.
