Summary
Project Manager for an electrical contractor overseeing national-account service projects (electrical and lighting for multi-site commercial clients), coordinating field crews and logistics across multiple states, tracking job costs, and serving as the client point of contact. Most management work is remote with significant travel.
Stones River Electric is growing fast and looking for a driven Project Manager to join Team 300 – National Accounts. This team supports high-volume national account service work (electrical and lighting service calls for multi-site commercial clients) with 1-man crews operating out of company vehicles. Travel is a core part of the role.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee national account service projects and ongoing maintenance work from kickoff through closeout
- Coordinate field crews, materials, and logistics across multiple states to hit deadlines and maintain high service quality
- Serve as a key point of contact for national account clients — clear communication, proactive updates, and strong relationship management
- Track job costs, labor, and materials to protect margins and support profitability goals
- Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and client requirements
- Collaborate with the Director of Service Operations / National Account leadership and internal teams (estimating, billing, warehouse, etc.)
- Troubleshoot issues in the field or office and drive solutions quickly
- Support continuous improvement in processes, reporting, and crew performance
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven project management experience in electrical contracting, lighting, facility services, or national-account service work (preferred)
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills — ability to manage multiple jobs and crews simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Comfortable with travel (projects can be anywhere in the U.S.) Most management will take place remotely.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office / Excel, basic job-management or CRM tools)
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Background check and drug screening required
