Project Manager, Multifamily
The Norfolk Companies | Norfolk Multifamily Division
Why This Role Exists
Multifamily developers don't hire us for cabinets and countertops; they hire us to show up on schedule, solve problems before they become delays, and make their job easier. That's not a policy statement. That's the Project Manager's job, every day, on every site.
We're growing our Multifamily division and need a Project Manager who owns projects end-to-end — from the first field measurement through final walkthrough — and who contractors and account managers alike trust to get it right the first time.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Own the project, start to finish — from pre-construction through closeout, you're the throughline that keeps cabinetry and countertop delivery on schedule across multiple developments at once.
- Be the field expert — take accurate measurements, adjust shop drawings, and catch discrepancies before they turn into delays or rework.
- Keep everyone aligned — serve as the main point of contact between the job site, the customer, contractors, and every internal department involved in getting product delivered.
- Protect the schedule and the budget — manage procurement timelines, requisitions, payments, lien releases, and cash flow, flagging issues before they become problems.
- Solve problems in real time — resolve field issues, punch list items, freight claims, and billing disputes without letting them stall a job.
- Close projects the right way — manage subcontractor closeout, deliver manuals, warranties, and as-builts, and leave the client with everything they need.
- Build relationships that last — with customers, vendors, contractors, and your internal team, so Norfolk becomes the easy call on the next project too.
