IS Project Manager leading an enterprise-wide SD-WAN transformation program for a major Australian healthcare provider in Brisbane, owning end-to-end delivery: network design, migration, vendor and telco oversight, governance, and stakeholder reporting through to operational handover.

They are embarking on a significant technology modernisation initiative and are seeking an experienced IS Project Manager to lead the delivery of a strategic SD-WAN transformation program.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex SD-WAN transformation program
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, resources and dependencies
- Coordinate network design, migration, testing, cutover and transition activities
- Manage project governance, reporting, RAID management and executive updates
- Partner with internal technology teams, business stakeholders and external vendors
- Oversee telecommunications providers, systems integrators and managed service partners
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring minimal disruption to critical services
- Drive stakeholder engagement, project communications and steering committee governance
- Ensure successful transition into business-as-usual operations and support teams
You are a seasoned project professional with a strong background delivering large-scale infrastructure, telecommunications or network transformation programs. You thrive in complex enterprise environments and are confident managing multiple stakeholder groups, vendors and technical workstreams.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-wide SD-WAN transformation projects
- Strong experience managing network, infrastructure, telecommunications or cloud connectivity programs
- Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, WAN architectures, network security and enterprise infrastructure environments
- Experience leading geographically dispersed, multi-site deployments
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong governance, financial management and risk management capabilities
- Excellent communication and executive reporting skills
- PRINCE2, PMP, AIPM CPPM or equivalent project management certification
- Experience within healthcare, aged care or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded
- Highly Regarded
- Delivery of SD-WAN deployments across 100+ sites
- Experience transitioning from legacy WAN/MPLS environments to modern SD-WAN or SASE architectures
- Exposure to leading SD-WAN platforms such as Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN or similar
- Experience delivering network transformation initiatives involving security modernisation and cloud connectivity
