Project Manager
WCC Technologies Group is seeking an IT Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support the delivery of IT infrastructure and network projects.
This role will coordinate activities across customers, network engineers, field technicians, vendors, warehouse personnel, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced coordinating multiple IT infrastructure projects and technical resources.
Technical engineering expertise is not required, but candidates must have experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure projects and be comfortable with networking, hardware deployments, data center, cloud, or related technologies.
Work Schedule: This position requires full-time availability during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
Responsibilities:
Manage IT infrastructure project schedules, milestones, action items, risks, issues, and dependencies
Coordinate activities between customers, network engineers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams
Plan and coordinate network and infrastructure deployments, maintenance windows, equipment staging, and cutovers
Maintain deployment schedules and coordinate technical resource assignments
Coordinate IT equipment receiving, inventory, staging, delivery, installation, returns, and RMA activities
Track network and infrastructure equipment by serial number, asset tag, location, site, and deployment status
Track engineering and technician labor hours, resource utilization, and project-related expenses
Monitor technical prerequisites, equipment readiness, site readiness, and other dependencies affecting deployments
Prepare project status reports, meeting notes, action items, risk/issue logs, and customer updates
Maintain project documentation and reporting in Jira, Confluence, Tempo, Excel, and related platforms
Coordinate project changes and escalate schedule, resource, technical, or cost impacts
Support customer acceptance, invoicing documentation, technical documentation, and project closeout
Qualifications
5+ years of project management or project coordination experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, data center, or enterprise technology environments
Experience managing or coordinating network, infrastructure, hardware deployment, migration, or technology implementation projects
Working knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure concepts, including networks, switches, routers, firewalls, servers, cloud environments, and data centers
Experience coordinating network engineers, systems engineers, field technicians, or other technical resources
Experience managing project schedules, maintenance windows, technical dependencies, risks, and deployment activities
Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and follow-up skills
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project-management platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with IT asset management, equipment inventory, or hardware logistics is a plus
Bachelor's degree and project-management certifications are preferred but not required
The successful candidate will keep projects organized, ensure commitments and deadlines are tracked, coordinate resources and equipment, maintain accurate project information, and proactively follow up on issues that could affect project delivery.
