Project Manager with SOC 2 experience

emagine is looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience leading SOC 2 certification and audit initiatives.

Location: Must be in Stockholm

We are seeking a senior consultant who can take ownership of an ongoing SOC 2 compliance project for a fast-growing international technology company. The consultant will act as the primary coordinator between auditors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure a successful audit process and certification journey.

This is not a hands-on technical role. The focus is on project leadership, stakeholder management, audit coordination, and ensuring all required governance and compliance activities are completed on time.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience leading a SOC 2 certification project from a Project Manager, Program Manager, or Compliance Lead perspective

• Experience working directly with external auditors and managing audit processes

• Strong understanding of SOC 2 controls, control matrices, evidence collection, and reporting requirements

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across technology, security, and business functions

• Ability to drive timelines, manage dependencies, and ensure audit readiness

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience from both sides of the audit process, either supporting organizations through audits or working closely with audit firms

• Experience with security, compliance, risk management, or governance-related projects

• Background in leading penetration testing initiatives or other security assessment activities is considered beneficial
