Public Relations Manager, MENA
Join Xsolla's Global Marketing team to support the planning, execution, and measurement of public relations and media relations campaigns across the MENA region. The role may be based in the Cyprus office or performed remotely across MENA and reports to the Vice President of Global Public Relations.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with Tier 1 and local media outlets and partners across MENA.
- Contribute to marketing communications strategies, goals, budgets, and tactics.
- Develop media relations plans securing placements across print, broadcast, and online outlets.
- Coordinate PR activities, event logistics, and speaking opportunities at regional games, fintech, and web3 events.
- Create content for traditional and new media platforms while considering regional cultural norms.
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
- Craft press releases, bylined articles, and presentation scripts.
- Evaluate partnership, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities.
- Build relationships with thought leaders, government bodies, and gaming ecosystem stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend communications strategies.
- Create thought leadership content and maintain an editorial ideas bank.
Requirements
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of PR campaign strategy and execution experience with meaningful MENA experience.
- Strong local and international business and industry media networks.
- Exceptional short-form, long-form, branded content, and copywriting skills.
- MENA PR event planning and execution experience, particularly in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
- Expertise in crisis communications.
- Prior video game industry experience is required; fintech experience is a bonus.
- Experience localizing press releases for Arabic-language markets.
- Ability to work independently across time zones in a globally distributed team.
- Knowledge of UAE and Saudi Arabian data privacy regulations and local business practices.
- Fluent English required; Arabic and/or Hebrew proficiency strongly preferred.
