Public Relations Representative
The public relations representative will support the gas business through media monitoring, media coordination, content development, and executive communications.
The role requires a strong understanding of media channels and the ability to identify and communicate important information related to the gas business. The successful candidate will also develop high-level speeches, executive messages, media content, and communication materials and support the creation and editing of video and visual content.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor local, regional, and international media channels and identify important information, news, trends, and developments related to the gas business.
- Analyze media coverage related to the gas business and highlight key opportunities, risks, and reputational issues for management.
- Develop and maintain direct communication channels with the upstream and corporate media departments.
- Identify opportunities to publish gas business-related content through domestic and international media channels.
- Develop high-level speeches, executive talking points, key messages, statements, and briefing materials for senior leadership.
- Write high-quality media content, articles, press releases, announcements, and other corporate communication materials related to the gas business.
- Convert complex technical and business information into clear, engaging, and impactful content suitable for executive and external audiences.
- Develop, edit, and support the production of videos, presentations, graphics, and other multimedia content related to the gas business.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify gas business projects, achievements, initiatives, and success stories suitable for media exposure.
- Ensure all media and communication content is accurate, professionally written, aligned with corporate messaging, and suitable for domestic and international audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, media, business administration, management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in public relations, media, corporate communications, journalism, or content development.
- Strong experience in professional writing and executive speech development.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of media channels and media communication.
- Experience in video editing, graphic design, or multimedia content creation is preferred.
- Experience in the oil & gas, energy, or gas business is highly desirable.
