Purchasing Manager (Tankers)

Create and put into practice efficient procurement strategies to guarantee the organization's supply chain is reliable and economical.
Build trusting relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and keep an eye on their performance to make sure that requirements for quality, delivery, and cost are met.

Determine and reduce procurement risks through the application of strong risk management techniques and backup plans.

Work together with the technical and financial teams to create and oversee budgets, and periodically monitor and report on procurement-related tasks.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of contracts and procurement in the maritime sector.
Excellent negotiating abilities and the capacity to establish and preserve productive connections with suppliers
Capacity to communicate cost expertise and analysis to persuade management to make decisions based on facts
Robust international network
Outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems
Interpersonal and communication abilities that work. a cooperative team member
