QA ENGINEER
Summary
QA Engineer in a precision engineering shop performing dimensional inspections using CMM and precision instruments, managing First Article approvals, and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 QMS compliance. Day-to-day work covers NCRs/CAPA, internal and supplier audits, and customer-complaint investigations in CNC machining manufacturing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and review quality inspections, including dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments, CMM and other inspection equipment.
- Manage the in-house approval of the First Article (FA) and submission of it to customers.
- Manage quality documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs, CAPA records, calibration records and department filing systems.
Support customer complaint investigations and implement effective corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company safety requirements and quality policies.
Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate customer and supplier audits, including follow-up on corrective actions.
Liaise with suppliers on quality-related issues and support supplier quality improvement activities.
- Support ISO and QMS compliance, including document control and audit preparation.
- Perform other QA/QC duties as assigned by the QA/QC Manager .
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Precision Engineering, CNC Machining or Manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Experience in customer audits, supplier audits and audit follow-up is preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC Milling and Turning processes is an advantage.
- Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin and English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates and customers.
